I saw this dinnerware at a friends home and had to get a set. It is very sophisticated, but study and works great as an everyday set. The condition and quality are first rate. These are made in Britain (not like some I've read reviews, which say they can come from China. These plates have some heft to them, too!! The price was very competitive. Bon appetit!!
I have the Butler's Pantry Pattiserie pattern which is tan with ivory accents. Instead of using the matching salad plates I am actually using these. They are beautiful and give great contrast to the tan of the other pattern. Some of the serving pieces have the same detail and it creates a very pretty set table.
I recently purchased two sets of these plates. I am a big fan of Emile Henry products and figured I would like these even though I had never seen them in person. They are very high quality like you would expect from Emile Henry, however, I found them heavier than I thought they would be and I would also describe them to be more of a cross between a plate and a shallow bowl. So for that reason, along with the weight, I rated them as a four star.
